Hey folks, just wondering if any has had any problem with the front passenger window lowering properly, but not raising? It is intermittent, but I noticed that as I was in turn, an the window was down, I heard something move within the door. Afterwards the window came up fine.

I was also wondering if the trunk hood is easy to replace?

Is the window working fine now? If so, there might have been something jammed within the regulator.

Why do you need to replace the trunk lid? Do you only need the holding rods? It would be a 2-men job since the lid is kind of heavy.

Actually, this is on a used 850 I test drove the other day.

The lip of the trunk lid (where the catch is) is starting to rust. It has already eaten away some of the metal. That's why I'm curious to see if a trunk hood replacement is possible. Or perhaps there might be a simpler way to patch up the gaps created by the rusting.

As for the window, it seems fine.
