850 Manual Trans Assembly
This may be a pretty basic question, one that may have already been answered.. I am a very visual person and I was wonder if there were any instructions on how to get the clutch disc, pressure plate, and clutch release bearing into a transmission the right way. I'm so close to have my manual swap done into my '94 850 Turbo, but I want to do everything the right way and don't want to end up pulling the trans back out.. does anybody know of any pictures that could help? Thanks!
...and you dont need the throw-out bearing unless your input shaft has the provision for it (which they dont). If you have one in there already just leave it.
Without a guide pin eyeball it. Match up the outer part of the pressure plate with the clutch disk all the way around and you'll be spot on.

I really don't need the clutch release bearing?? Why have I heard so much about it being needed then.. that sounds strange, but I noticed that there really doesn't seem to be a place for it, there was one in there when I took it apart though, which is why I thought I needed it..
