Was this the 93 you are parting?
Or is this one newer?

Tech,
Thanks for all your help! Also this is another 93 I bought (- I still have my beloved 94 ) just for the head. The previous owner had the car towed to a Repair facility because 'she' thought the head was damaged, the guy quoted her a price of $1400 for the repair, she offered it to him for sale for $200, the guy thought he would use it for parts but never did, in fact he said he never even worked on it.

When I was looking at it he said it would have to be towed back to sylvania (where I live)...I thought ok I'd use AAA so I filled the rad with water and it seemed to hold. So then I said hey lets try to make it back home. Put $6 worth of gas in it and started the drive, temp went to the normal range, I was watchin it close, heater worked great, So I drove it home, speeds up to 70MPH. Never sputtered, and didn't even smoke, and never overheated...that is over 70 miles. So I do believe the head is ok.

I am putting the head on my 93 that I bought for $300 to sell, I have a total of $600 in the two cars, and will have to invest a few $ in Timing belt, and head gasket but well worth it. I'll still have plenty of extra parts, in fact both bodies are very straight with NO RUST at all. none of the front seats in any of my cars are perfect so I do need a set of tan leather front seats...I could buy another car for $400 to get the seats, maybe after my parts car gets hauled out on Monday...I am going to use it for scrap for any part members do not want...the car paid for itself, the head would have cost me $500 at least to rebuild so I saved $ just by buying it...then if I can make any proceeds from the parts is just icing on the cake...

OK I wanted to make sure it was the 93. If it was a later model 94 or up I would have inquired about parts but since it is a 93 I will pass.

No problem, whoever gets this 93 is going to be set, It will come with 2 sets of wheels. I am going to make it nice to see how much $$$ I can turn $600 into, I already got a quote of $200 on the body if I scrap it...so...that head and all the parts ended up costing me $100...Not bad that would be IF I didn't sell one part so the cost should end up being much less and maybe even a small profit...not to mention the money I'll make from the sale of the 93
