850 Turbo problems going straight
Hello everyone,
My name is Max and I'm new to the site. I hope you guys can help me figure out what's my problem with my car. It's a 95' 850 Turbo sedan. Had it for a little over a year now. When I first owned the car I notice that the car pulls the to the right when driving and had to turn the steering wheel about .7 of an inch to go foward. So I thought it had a bad alignment and went to my dealer to get an alignment done. However it actually made it worst with a harder pull to the right. So I went back to see what was wrong. Therefore they went to look for the problem and had the steering column reajusted. After that it went as straight as an arrow. But a few weeks later that I found the front wheels were backwards for they were directional tires (by the dealer). Had the car jacked up and swap them back to the right direction this time and the pulling started again I later found out. Later I had rotated the tires back to front to see if the problem was solved. But it didn't. That was a year ago. During this weekend I found on the internet that rotating the tiresback tofront on the opposite side where it was pulling from would fix the problem. I don't know if this would work, I have yet to try this ( one lug nut was stuck on the wheel and it was getting late.).
Today when I backed up, I notice when I didn't have my hands on the wheel the car would turn left hard with the steering wheel turning at 12 to 9 (12 meaning at the top of the steering wheel) within 10 ft. of backing up. Sorry for such a long paragraph but it had drove me up the wall figuring what's wrong! Thanks.
