I searched for some troubleshooting and here's what i found.You can try to do a test for spark at the plugs Remove one of the plug wires from a plug and hold it near grounded metal. (If the plug end has a long insulated shroud, you may have to improvise to get ground close enough to the end of the wire.) Have someone crank the engine while you watch for spark. If you get an 1/8" or so of spark, that should be enough to fire.

 

help! we are having the same problem. put new fuel pump in, new fuel pump sensor, new distributor cap, new starter. what do we do now? help, help, help..

 

Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Ro, I have a 1993 850. She was running fine until about 2 months ago. She left my wife on the freeway 3 times and then started not starting. I'm going to replace the PNP next and hope that's the problem. The engine fires but doesn't turn over. Would that be symptoms of the PNP? It just won't spark. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
