Default 94 855 turbo help please

Egr valve code memory fail code prheat rear codes. The car had a. Random misfire at idleand it was gettin Worse so i thought it was the egr valve since there was fault code. I tore the valve off looked great so did the hole in manifold forthevalve. I then took the line off that goes from exh. Mani to the valve it looked great there was no restrictions the valve would up in down and likepopping sound to it cleanid withcarb cleaner and clean the terminals on the connector for the hell of it. After this I noticed it had the original ignition wires and so replaced cap, rigor plugs and wires. Used Bosch coppers and Bosch wires Gapped to .025. Before all this the car would hesitate at wot and boost spiked from 5 to 6.5 and seemed likeit had a limiter. After all this the car now has a steady misfire but has good power and will not hesistateatwot it only misfires at idle. All vac lines are good please help me out I've seen a lot of guys have had these problems on the other forums but don't what to do.

Also be careful of those cheap Bosch wires and plugs. The volvo's do not really like them all that much.
But check for a vacuum leak first if none then try swapping back the cap and wires and see if it goes away.

Ok will do also you know if the Ipd performance wires work well? Someone said bugicords I believe are good stock replacements. On the forum a few guys said that the Bosch coppers work well.. could I have the gaps in the plugs to small maybe because it doesn't miss with a little bit of gas applied only at idle.

then again When I think about my problem May have been just plugs and cap because the contacts in side the cap were tottaly burnt and plugs were Bosch plats. (junk) looked like they were dipped in baby powder.

How many miles do you have? How long have you had the car? When did it start misfiring?

There is a chance you have a bad injector or two. Have you run some good injector cleaner through the tank?

White deposits usually mean you are running lean or too hot at the point of combustion..
Ditch the platinums and get good old copper plugs and gap those at .026, you have to change them more often but for $2 each it doesnt really matter.

The Ipd wires work fine for me, but there are alternatives out there..

I would do a full stage 0 again, w/copper plugs.
Check the condition of the throttle body, and MAF.

Also as stated above do an injector cleaning, and try a seafoam treatment. Also check for that vac leak.
id replace all your vac lines with Silicone just to make sure you arent leaking.

The coppers work better then the other Bosch plugs.
Bougicord are the best OEM replacements. I run them on all 3 of my cars.
My turbo cars I run autolite coppers and never have any issues. I gap mine at .025 because I am running 15 PSI boost on both cars. I get 30K out of the plugs easy and never a running issue.

I would also run a good fuel injector cleaner through the gas tank. I like and always use Techron on my cars. It is a little expensive but works good.
