'95 850 check engine light
Howdy folks, My wife's '95 850 GLT non turbo has had the check engine light on for awhile, I have reset it but it eventually comes back on. When I plug into the OBD-II port by the shifter with my scanner it comes up code 440 Evap system Malfuction. Can anybody elaborate on the possible cause for this code. Or is there any way to diagnose it more specifically? I know there is a way to count the blinks on the light under the hood but I'm not familiar with how to do that. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
Under the hood on the radiator schroud is a valve with a vaccum line from the intake to the valve.
Start there and follow back looking for breaks in the hoses.
