I recently purchased a 95 850 GLT. It has 137,000. The car cranks, but doesn't fire, when it's cold then seems to bind up. You have to do this a few times before it catches and starts. It has poor acceleration and loss of power on hills. The check engine light is on. The codes are 1-5-3 and 1-5-4. Rear O2 sensor and EGR issues. Can someone tell me where to start...

Your 850 may need quite a few things done, and I would make sure the timing belt has been done within the last 70,000 miles or 5 years.
