95 850 Removing Steering Wheel

RE: 95 850 Removing Steering Wheel
Hello Eli,
I myself never had to take the steering wheel off, and I no longer have 850 with me so my info may not be accurate.
Is the holding nut still there? If so, I would use the correct size 6-point socket with a breaker bar. Be sure to follow safety precautions on the SRS; disconnect the negative battery cable and follow up with any additional precautions.
If all fasteners are off and the wheel still wants to stay in its nest, you could try spraying a bit of PB Blaster and keep wiggling as you pull on the wheel. Or you may want to tap it from the back side of the wheel with plastic hammer.
Do all tasks at your own risk, and be sure to follow the safety precautionsfor SRS.
Good luck,
JPN
