Hey I'm neorkw to volvo but I do work on cars. I got this volvo 4 days ago it ran good the first few days it just hesitated a little to start up. Now I pulled into a gas station and went to start the car again and it took a good 5 min to start then later at a friends house it wouldn't start at all... the next morning I tried to start it and it fired up within 10 seconds... I replaced the fuel filter and plug wires. And its getting spark. I tried to test the fuel with the valve on the end of the fuel rail and uts onlg dribbling gas out what should I do? The car won't start at all now and idk what to do! Any suggestions?

 

If the fuel just dribbles out at the fuel rail, check the fuel pump pressure. Your symptoms seem like failing fuel pump, too, but be sure before you buy a replacement pump.

 

You can try putting seafoam in gas tank.

Agreed, you will need to find out what your rail pressure is or if it is even getting fuel. Sounds like it is not.
