96 2,3T5 turbo boost control
I left the boost solenoid electrical connection plugged in and this hasn't seemed to cause any codes. No tubes connected to the boost solenoid. The engine does not have a direct pressure measurement, so it doesn't really know what the boost control is doing. Overboost will certainly get you a code but you probably expect that.
I don't understand the word "angler".

Well I just tried taking my boost feed line from the solenoid and ran it trough my boost control valve and to my wastegate, I could only hit 0,8Bar boost. Before when the control valve was in the solenoid I could spike it up to 1,1 bar and then down to 0,8/0,9
