'96 850 refuses to start
Since I bought a used S60 in March I parked the old 850 in my driveway awaiting a decision weather to keep it for my daughter or to get rid of it. While stored it was regularly run once a week and driven around the block. I failed to run it for a couple of weeks in a row and now it will not start! it cranks and it almost started a couple of times but that is as close as it came. Its been a month now since I had it running and I am anxious to get it started. I checked for spark to the distributor which is ok then I sprayed some eather in the hose leading to the throttle but no go, it just refuses to start. PLEASE HELP!

RE: '96 850 refuses to start
Get in and push the gas pedal to the floor before turning the key on. Keep pedal to the floor and crank the motor over and do not let the gas pedal go. It might take about 3 to 4 minutes but keep cranking it and it should start.
Sounds like the lifters might have bled down.
