i am in need of a new 850 R front bumper but i am afraid that if i go to a dealership they will kill me on prices and they will not get the R series bumper.</P>


what do i do? is there a place on the internet that will get me the R series bumper or do i have to go to the dealership?</P>

i dont know of any sites that would be good to get bumpers from, but i do have two suggestions. firts of all, try a junk yard. it is surprizing what you can sometimes find there. if there is nothing there or you dont know of a junkyard, try ebay. ebay has a lot of parts in good condition for fairly good prices. other than that, i dont have any other suggestions

 

im not sure you'll need an "R" bumper. from what ive seen the bumpers seem relatively identical on the r's and the regular versions of the 850. you should be able to find one here....... http://www.volvoworld.com/</P>

see thats what i am afraid the dealer ship is going to say. no the R has a front lip and it not like it is just a bolt on lip it is molded on to the bumper if that makes any since

 

its been awhile since ive seen an R series 850. where is this lip. is it like an air spoiler on the underside of the bumper like on a 240?
