Taking Care of Mulva
My wife came up with that name. We have an 850 Wagon w/ 123,000 miles. Bought it in August, have hit one pronghorn (question for another time) but absolutely love the car.

Anyway, I'm planning to do some work on mywagon in the next couple months. I finally got a little scratch and plan to upgrade the tires andreplace the brake pads, CV axles, and front struts. Would anyone out there care to recommend a good website to purchase some of these items? The best deals I found were at El Autoparts and Tirerack.com. I have the money to do it, so I want quality. My buddy keeps telling me to look for Koni struts, metal master brakes, and honestly, I don't knowif that's what I'm looking for. Would love advice from someone with a little experience in this area.

Thanks, Craig

hey what's going on craig.....to be quite honest, i found that that good folks at IPD are pretty good in supplying parts for Volvos that are both good in price and quality. They specialize in Volvos, so you have nothing to worry about when dealing with getting parts specific to only volvos. I do believe that they do have some suspension packages and parts for volvo 850's. Check it out. You can go to their website: www.ipdusa.com, or you can call them (sorry--i forgot the number). They do have actual catalogs and mailers; just call them or email them for one. They send them out every month or so.

Good Luck!!
