Default 97 850 NA radiator replacement

Being a new member I just posted a hello in that section, and also asked if a forum member whom might be located in Orlando Fl would be willing to help me
with a radiator repair.

Im now thinking that having someone do the repair is more what Im looking for.

Has anyone here used anyone that they would highly recommend.

Im certainly willing to pay but of course dont wanna get gouged.

Looking forward to recommendations!

Bring your car to Anaheim...I'll fix it for beer and lunch. Honestly, radiator replacement on a NA 850 is easy, straight forward, and does not require any "special" tools. If you have a place to work and basic tools, you can do this. Search the forum for, "Volvo 850> Replacing Radiator -- How Difficult?". I have done 2 replacements on different 850's, so here are a few tips. Get all the parts together before beginning. You will need a new radiator, coolant, inlet and outlet hoses (most likely), new thermostat, if you have an auto trans, get NEW o-rings & seals & clips for the 2 transmission cooling hoses and the 2 engine oil cooling hoses. I bought everything from FCP Euro.

Wishing I was closer to Anaheim, and I could promise the beer would not be Pabst nor would the sandwiches be spam.. You are right in that the replacement is not that difficult, especially after doing some reading here!

Hopefully someone will chime in with a helping hand to lend.

Default Valeo Radiator

Been reading up on the different radiators available for the N/A Volvo 850 and thinking of going with the Valeo, rather than the Nissen or Behr being that I plan to hold on to the car for a while.

Just wanted to verify that this would be the best choice as far as build quality
when all is said and done?

Also..Still looking for a forum member/Mechanic Type for the installation here in Orlando.

TIA
