Got an a '97 850 Wagon back in June, it runs great and is almost perfect. Bit of a problem though - the sunroof doesn't like to close. It worked great for about a month, then one day it developed the issue. Specifically, I'll hit the close button, it will go forward a bit, then open itself back up. It will do this repeatedly, no matter how many times I press the close switch. The only way I can get it to close is by grabbing onto the inside shutter for it, pressing close and forcing it to prevent it from opening up again. Obviously, this is a bit of an issue, and I haven't opened my sunroof. I've checked, and I'm sure that there's not something on the tracks that would be blocking it. It closes smoothly when I force it (There's no trouble spot feels like it's getting stuck), so I don't think there's any actual issue. Is there something I can do to check this sensor and clean it, or is there another thing I could try? I've googled around a bit, I've found plenty of explanations for how to fix it if it slips off the tracks, or if the scissor switch on one side dies, but I haven't been able to find anything like this. Can anyone help me out?
