Default 98 V70 T5 sway bars fit '96 850 T

I have a chance to get for free the front and rear sway bars off a 1998 V70 T5. Will they fit my 1996 Turbo wagon and will that be an upgrade from my stock setup. From what I remember, I have no rear bar and the front bar should be slightly larger diameter.
Thanks for letting me know.

Ray

You can probably check the part numbers on www.ipdusa.com. It will let you know if the same bar will fit the S70 and '96 850.

I did check with IPD and they fit. What I was wondering if that is good upgrade from the stock 850 setup. Seems to me stock doesn't come with a rear sway bar. Is that true?

As far as I know all 850 sedans came with sway bars. Most 850 wagons came with them. Some V70's came with them but not all of them.

I believe the only upgrade will be going to R sway bars.
