My '97 850 with 130K has the ABS light on and I'm looking at a possible exchange for the ABS control unit. Has anyone tried to fix these units themselves? Is there a good place to send them to exchange the unit that is inexpensive? Do I need to check any other components?

Lee, Just what I was looking for to fix this problem. Yes I know how to solder and I am glad the problem is just bad solder on the circuit board. Very nice write up and you saved me some $$$. I'll give it a go. Thanks.
