about 2000 miles ago my abs light came on once, I drove it 1500 miles and didnt have it come on at all. Now in the last 300 miles it has come on 3 times. Any ideas where to start?

 

The ABS module is most likely bad.

But you should have the codes pulled to see.

 

check your individual wire connections to the abs modules on each wheel. Mine had been severed and I just had to reconnect w. new module. Never hurts to look. A lot cheaper than rebuild on ABS module. Most likely the module is bad. Common problem on these cars.

 

ABS controller has some loosed connection on the circuit board. I do not know how to open the module. I can be repaired at about $75. I paid $150 to get mine fix by Mr. Rocha in Southhern CA. I saw another ad last time for $75 I just can't remember where. Try searching. Good Luck!
