ABS Light turned on today
A little problem on the way to work for me this morning, the ABS light turned 2 minutes before I pulled in to work. I restarted the car several times and the light just blinks for 2 seconds as soon as the engine starts but goes off (I'm guessing that this is normal, because i've had the car for 1.5 years).
Went home no problem, no ABS light. I went to get my scanner and read the codes. Turns out that the vehicle passed (no codes).
It is a 95 Sedan (139,000miles).
By reading the forums I'm guessing that the ABS light is a common problem.
So I'm guessing this is a sign of my ABS module could be going bad. Any ideas....

Well I realized that I only used the OBD2 Reader to get the codes and there werent any.
Today went to read the codes from the computer thingie by the washer filler cap and got the following codes:
1-4-1 Pedal Signal Faulty (Shorted to Ground)
1-4-2 Stop Lamp Switch Faultey << Im guessing thats the brake light switch which I replaced 2 months ago, brake lights work fine.
4-4-4No Power to Hydraulic Fluid Valves
2-1-3 No Left/RearWheel Signal on Moving Off
2-1-4 No Right/Rear Wheel Signal on Moving Off
Could the 213, 214 codes cause the ABS light? & What do the others codes mean.....
Thanks
P.S. Is the OBD2 supposed to pick up those codes?

On your car the OBDII is only for engine.
Clear them and see how fast they come back.
I believe those are the codes for the ABS module being bad on the earlier ones.

My Volvo mechanic told me that the ABS modules go frequently. He replaced mine right after I bought it. I would replace it, 10 minutes fix. Right near the brake fluid res. if I remember correctly.
