ABS problems
'96 Volvo 850, abs light came on. After scanning it read the right rear sensor being dirty first. After we cleaned it and nothing changed we installed new rear sensors (both). Abs light is still on after replacement and after we reset it. So, $120 later, decided to ask you guys what else could trigger it? It is definitely on the right rear wheel and sensor is new. Does it have some kind of abs ring inside that could be broken or...?
even if the light comes and goes like it does now? last night I drove it and it was fine for about 20 minutes, than it came on, than off again after 5 minutes.
Also, can module be replaced separately from the abs pump or it only goes as 1 unit?

You should be able to get the module seperate. There are some after market companies that will rebuild yours for i think 150.00 or so. I dont know which companies are reputable though and there seems to be a difference. Im pretty new to Volvo's but i just looked into this problem myself.
