Alright, we just bought a 94 volvo 850 turbo wagon. I had a third seat from a 96 850 wagon and was assured that it would be fine. Well, we have it completely installed and the back of the second row of seats is missing the "hole" for the latch to go into! Can I get that part or am I out of luck? Where do I start looking? Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!

 

Yeah, I've got a 94 wagon with third seat and I want to install it into my 96 wagon but there's no hole. I read somewhere you just cut one, but I am not sure... I do have the parts, but would love some instruction for dis and re assembly.

 

Hey now,

As you remove the seat, measure twice (car with seat) and cut once (car without). Don't mess up one for the other.

There is a slot in the back of the second row seat.
But you will need to buy the plastic insert.

Fold the seat up like you were going to opne it.
Where the black arm would enter feel closely and you should feel the slot.
Cut a hole with a razor and trim to fit the plastic insert in.
