arrow flashing when reallllly cold...
Hi guys, well this has happen twice when we went to the cottage. it seems to happen after leaving the car outside for a day or 2 and it is really cold (below 20 cel.) i went to start the car (was tough but started) and the arrow on the dash (and the ECONO and SPORT light flash at the same time) starts to flash. WHen driving it seems to act like in winter mode after a while of driving, i stopped the car, put in park, played with the "E" and "S" button a few times...shut off engine, turn get to on, start engine again and the flahing light goes away...what can it be? is it the winter mode solenoid or something? thanks

Your PNP switch is failing. In the short run you can usually get it to work again by rowing the shifter from low to park a dozen or even a couple of dozen time or so. Do it quickly so as to loosen up the grease.
Try not to drive very much when it is in that condition, it defaults to a 3rd gear limp home mode that is tough on the transmission.

Park Neutral Position sensor.
Is is located on the top of the transmission. Look where the cable attaches to the top if the tranny. There is a part screwed on the top that has been slid over the shaft and sits on the top of the tranny.
It can be replaced worse part is getting the plug setup apart and then making sure it is adjusted properly when done.
