back rotor help

Default back rotor help

1996 VOLVO 850/GLT i'm changing the back rotors how do i get them off i got the 10mm bolt and the brakes off. now what else is their? seem's like something hanging on at the bottom

Grab it with both hands and work it back and forth towards you. If that doesn't work take a hammer to it it's siezed up to whatever extent.

ok!!! got it off and now i'm trying to put the new one on execpt the rotar will not go the **** on!!! won't go on!!! what do i gotta do to get the new rotar on???? it just won't seat back on properly what do i gotta do here???

ok passangers side done. now i'm on the drivers side and it is a pure ****ing bitch man the rotor won't come off i'v pried n pried...

Maybe use a screwdriver and gently get some leverage and try to get it to move a bit, then pull it with your hands.

You don't happen to have the emergency brake on do you? I have never had problems getting my rotors off the rear. Well sometime I have had to hit them pretty hard with a hammer, but never trouble getting new ones back on.

I would think both of them would have been hard to get off if the E-Brake was still on, but still a good place to check.
