Default Black/Brown Smoke at Full Throttle

greetings, I just bought a 96 850 turbo wagon with 92,000 origional miles. The timing belt was done on time and I know of no other major work to the engine. The entire engine compartment and underbody are clean enough to eat off of and it drops nothing in the garage overnight, so I'm thrilled with the car. No dash warning lights are on, not even the abs. It's like a volvo fantasy. The only thing is that uder full throttle there is some blackish smoke. It's barely enough to see in the rearview mirror, but a driver behind me described it as black/brown and they could see it clearly. It's not a huge cloud, but it's there every time. Is this valve seals? it's not there at first startup so it's not dripping down overnight. Is this normal for this engine with 92K when it's at full throttle? Thanks for any input.

Does it use any oil? It is possible that it could just be excess carbon that is burning off.

I have only had it three days so I'm not sure about the oil usage. I agree that carbon deposits may be the thing. Today I put in premium gas and fuel injector cleaner. I will try a few more full throttle tests on this tank of gas to burn off deposits and check for smoke. I think the smoke cloud is already smaller than two days ago when I drove it home with my wife following and observing the smoke. Speaking of full throttle, WOW, these are fun cars. Pretty soon I'm going to have to ease off the throttle tests to get the mpg up. Thanks for the input.
