Default Blower fan doesnt have power (ACC)

Hi:
Our '95 turbo sedan's blower fan isn't working. I replaced the fan a few years ago, I thought it may be inop again. However there is no power coming to the fan.
With the ACC, any suggestions on how to track this down> I'm not even sure how you remove the control panel from the dash...
I have checked all fuses, they are OK

Thanks for any help

Pete

Not to question you here but 99.9% of all fan issues is this little bad boy.

The fan should have power to it all the time from the red wire. This module controls the amount of ground the fan gets. This thing is known for causing fans to not work. I am just bringing this up, you already might know this info, just an FYI.

i aree i had to replace mine. it was behind the glove box. check for power at various spots like after the switch, before the switch, before and after the blower motor, before and after the thermoresistor which is the sensor in the pic above. the sensor should be giving out a voltage between 0-5v. if it is giving off 0 or 5v it is bad

What Boxpin is holding in the pic is for ECC systems - do you have an ECC or an MCC? The MCC uses a different unit that 'only' has a resistor.

To remove the control module from the dash, just pull out the radio (don't remove the wires unless you have the radio code!) and then gently pull on the bottom part of the control module - it'll slide straight out.

I had the same problem and doing my troubleshooting I found that there is also a relay in the circuit . (If I remember correctly it was the small green one) I de-lidded it and toggled it a couple of times and put it back into the circuit and everything has been find for a year now. Someone has posted how to replace the fan and has pitures if you look that up you'll see the relay
