Ouch!!! I hate it when the nose dips down just enough to make you miss their bumper. I bet the Benz only had a scratch. At least you didn't pop the air bag.

My guess would be $1,800.

I thought your lower bumper was painted blue like the car.

Spot on. the Benz is just scratched. The actual impact was probably 5+ mph.
The spoiler was painted but recently stripped to repaint due to my wifes driving habits.

So, how'd it happen? Did they give you the big one - two at an intersection. Act like they were going then stop? That's how they got me last time.

That sucks. Good that you were not going too fast, those airbags suck.

Hey... Just putting it out there....
If they are going to replace your front bumper/R Spoiler.... Ill take the old one off your hands..

Just a thought.

Boxpin: I know Rob would kill me for this, but if you recall sometime ago I offered my '98 V90 for your '95 850, if you are willing to drive it to NYC, LOL. That offer still stands with your car as-is. Meanwhile, I have about $ 1000 in Stage 0 parts (installed or not) that go with the V90.

dude that sucks sorry about that. it shouldn't be too expensive to fix. At least the insurance can now pay for the front bumeper to be painted and not out of your pocket! I read this thread thinking I was going to see it all mangled but it's not too bad maybe a couple grand to fix.

As far as I can tell this is what I need:

1. A/C Condensor
2. Radiator Support
3. Head lamp
4. Marker
5. One horn
6. hood
7. Grill
8. paint

Headlight -- If tabs are ok, you can just replace the lens, no? Any alignment issues where right-fender meets A pillar?

I would take it to a collision shop, and let the adjuster meet with the shop and discuss the scope there. The shop might think of things that you may not on your own, especially those under the skin. Estimates are free.

Intercooler? Radiator tabs?

Unfortionately I have had my share of estimates over the past 3 years and they adjusters are pretty good. When my daugther drove my 960 in the ditch & hit that sign they gave me full value on the car, but they didn't total it. Doesn't even show up on the auto check.

Based on those parts you listed, I move my estimate up to $3,200.
