The break lights in my volvo 850 wont shut off. The only way to get them to shut off is to pull the fuse every time I park the car. I have read that the break light switch may need to be replaced or adjusted. Could someone please tell me where to locate the break light switch & how to replace it? or post a link that explains the process ..

 

Are you sure you dont just have your rear fogs on?

 

you should find the brake light switch in the driver's side under dash - high up on the brake pedal lever. try disconnecting to make sure your not finding the cruise control release switch
