Default A/C Recharge Issue

Hi guys, I recently bought a '95 850 GLT and am in the process of fixing her up. I recently replaced a damaged & leaking condenser.
Right now, the A/C system is bone dry and has not been vacuumed.
With the engine running, A/C on, blower on high, recirculate on, A/c recharge kit installed on low port, the compressor doesn't click on at all. The blower/A/C compressor fuse is good and the blower works. What is my next diagnosis step? Jumping the A/C compressor at the low pressure switch?
FYI: It's about 46 degrees out.

It will NOT click on until there is enough freon in the system to lube it. Have you put the freon in it yet?

It didn't seem to take any freon at all. I had it hooked up for at least 15 minutes and the can was 100% full.

you have need to check everything and pull vacuum before charge. make sure compressor is good. pull vacuum and make sure there are not any leaks. if condenser was replace due to damage from wreck. there might be metal particles in the line. there can not be any air or moisture in the line.

there is a low pressure switch on the low side you may have to jump it out to start the clutch . make sure you vacuumed down for at least a hour . did you nitrogen pressure test it to see if there are any leaks ? a vacuum pump is NOT the way to test for leaks,it may suck a bad o-ring in and give you a false reading . think about it a leak means gas flowing out not in pressurizing the system will tell you it has the leak

ok ,now what you have to do is disconnect the power wire on the clutch and see if it has voltage but make sure you still have the LP switch jumped ,if you have no voltage you need to check the fuse or breaker ,if you do have voltage bad clutch . does this have a push button to turn a/c on ? or by the dash control ?

try this , take a wire ,put it on the positive terminal of the battery take the other end and disconnect the clutch wire from the compressor, take the wire from the battery and put it to the wire from the compressor , it will come on unless the clutch is bad, if clutch does not engage replace clutch .if it does engage this means you have a open circut from your switch on the dash and it is not energizing the clutch
