Cabin filter

RE: Cabin filter
Hi,
The cabin (pollen) filter is at the corner of the outside air intake shroud (under the windshield wipers). I'll attach some pics (courtesy of Cam's Factory & FCP Groton), but you may need to install it yourself, if it didn't come as original equipment. Groton has an aftermarket retainer. Call & ask them to see if the retainer comes with installation instructions (though it doesn't look too difficult).
Good luck,
JPN
↓Note, that these pics (except for the last 2, which came from FCP Groton) are taken from Japanese web and the location is the opposite on your car (except if you live in the UK).

Activated charcoal is usually the best material for getting rid of odor.
Charcoal filter: $25
Normal filter: $17

The first pic is the charcoal.

RE: Cabin filter
There are two T-25 screws on the top that you undo and you can get it out. I just pulled mine out today on my 850, and except for some debris in the pleats I could see light through it so I would assume it is good enough to put back.I tapped it flat on a solid surface and put it back in.
