Default Camshaft sensor a DIY job?

Hello everyone,

I need to replace my camshaft sensor as it is causing intermittent problems with engine stalling. I know that the part is easily accessible and removable....BUT the big question is whether or not the engine/cam timing is affected when you replace the sensor. Is it necessary to do any electronic re-programming or re-setting to the timing....or even mechanical adjustments??

Thanks for your help!

You just replace the sensor and go.
There is no programming or anything like that.

It will take you about 30 to 40 minutes to replace it.
