Car stopped and won't start - ECU???
My '95 850 GLT stopped yesterday and won't start - just turns and turns. The upshift arrow for the transmission mode flashes, along with the light for E and S mode. I check the codes and got several, but two pointed to the IAC and the TPS. Using my Chilton repair manual, I checked the plugs for these two, and was not getting any voltage from the ECU. The repair manual said that I should then check either the harness or the ECU. So I pulled out the ECU and did a continuity check from the ECU harness to the sensors, and all three wires on each were fine. ..
....so could my ECU be the problem. I noticed in the electrical diagram that the fule injectors are on the same circuit as the IAC, so I check them and they are also not getting any voltage.....
..any suggestions? How much is it to replace a ECU?

RE: Car stopped and won't start - ECU???
Thanks..i tried unplugging the mass airflow sensor, and it still won't work.
I checked this senssoe, and it is not getting any voltage (manual says it should be battery voltage)
I checked the electrical diagram, and the mas air flow, IAC along with the fuel injectors and some other sensors should be getting voltag from the circuit that comes from the fuel injector relay. I'm not sure if this relay is working. I notice in the diagram that this same circuit send a signal to one pin on the ECU, so I pulled the ECU out to check the voltage at the pin that is coming from the fuel injector relay (that also goes to the other sensore mentione above) and I get nothing, with the ignition on, or when I turn it to start...
..could the fuel injector relay be the problem? and If so, where is it located? My repair manual only shows it in the electrical drawings, bu no mention of its location.

Possible but if you can get ahold of a noid light you should check injector pulse.Make sure the injectors are getting power and grounding properly.
The only other thing I can think of is there is a relay by the cooling fan relay. It is a square relay with 4 wires going to it.Make sure the wires are clean and tight.

I FIXED IT!!
After locatingthe fuel injector relay, which was where it was suggested to be, I noticed it was not getting battery voltage all the time, so I checked the wire comin to at the battery, and it's connection wa eroded. I changed the connection, and it started!!!!
I checked for trouble codes, and all were gone!!! Drove car for 3-4 hours today with no issues. Runs just as before.....and a loose connection casued all of that trouble.
Thanks to all who offered suggestions!
