changing struts and shocks need pointers

I'm going to tackle the struts and shocks on my 96 wagon. I'm pretty comfortable changing the struts out. Is there anything out of the ordinary on the rear shocks I should be aware of? Special tools etc?

Expect lower bolts on rear shocks to be RIP (rusted in place). A sawzall will cure that. Other than that, you should be good to go.
