Default charcoal can thing do i need it??

Seems like a bunch of soon to be vacuum leaks and california hooey crap.. Every other vehicle i have owned and some of those close to me dont have em as they broke off or what not and all run fine. But they are older..... what does it do???? other than emissions stuff. Reason i ask is its all out of the car at the moment and well.... why put it back??

All it does is emissions stuff. Like keeping the air where you are from looking, feeling and tasting like a tailpipe. Remember LA in the 70's with the smog alerts. If you had a wife, child or close friend with asthma you'd know how important it is to them.

But unless you manage to find a way to bypass a sensor in that system you'll have to live with a check engine light. The problem with that is that you'll never know when something really important is about to or has died if the light is always on especially if you tape over it or pull the check engine bulb.
