Default Location of charcoal canister???

Hey guys I am new to the site and I own a 1998 C70. I live in MD and recently went to have emissions done on my car. While I was there I threw a code. They say it is the P0455 EVAP Control System Leak Detected (gross leak). After doing my research I have learned that it could be as simple as the gas cap or a small hose connected to the charcoal canister. Can anyone tell me the location of this canister so I can check it? Has anyone else had any experience with this? Thanks in advance.

The canister is under the front left hand wheel arch. Any failure of a part of the evap system will throw a code as it is supposed to be sealed.

Check also that the canister is not holed. I saw one recently on an 850 that had several small holes in it.

Do I need to remove the wheel lining for this? What exactly does it look like. Thanks again.

OK.. I just replaced the J hose and another L hose... the location on my 1998 C70 convertible was near the fuel tank... not under the wheel well
