Check engine light
My check engine light is on, myquestion would be is there a way to turn this off or reset this function without the OBDII tool. I just got the codes from autozone my thought was that it would cut off after the code was read unfortunally I was wrong.Help

Hi Kakins,
If your 850 is of '93-'95, yes you can reset the codes + CEL via OBD-I in the engine compartment. Haynes has an instruction as to how to reset it, and there seem to be a few on-line instructions as well. If your 850 is of '96-'97, I believe you will need a decent OBD-II scanner to reset it.
