Check engine light

Check engine light
Help with 94 850 turbo??? Check engine light will reset for a few miles and come back. The code keeps pointing to bad knock sensors but I replaced the sensors and wires and still have the light. I followed the instructions to check all wires to the ECM and found no problems with wires. Is my ECM bad?

RE: Check engine light
Possible but unlikely. How does the car run? What I would try next is this....disconnect the battery and remove the ECM. Clean the ECM connector with some alcohol and a soft brush and let it dry. Re-install the ECM, connect the battery, clear the codes again and see what happens.

[align=left]Just a thought...before shelling out big bucks for a new ECM or upgrade, call the guys at Tom's Foreign Auto Parts and ask if they have a used ECM for your car. You can find their shop on Ebay. I've used them and am very pleased with the service and prices. WAY cheaper than my local salvage yards.
