okay, i have accessed the diagnostic box next to the washer fluid fill. the one side has the letter A and the led light, the other side has the letter B. on the A side there are a series of holes with numbers. need some instruction on how to find the code for check engine and for seeing how many miles is on the car. Thank you for your help thus far.

cool, the car only has 176,888 miles, thought it would have more. now just need to know how to see what code the check eng is throwing...
