Default NA cams in a turbo?

After doing a quick search, I could not find what year NA cams will work in a turbo. I thought Gabe used 1993's? Will any year NA cams work in my 1994 turbo?

Yes they will. I am running the later N/A cams in the Yellow car.

Any year will fit, but apparently the 1993 NA cams had the largest duration.

You can if you want. I have both of mine set at TDC and they're fine.

Was at the pull a part yard today, and got a pair of 1998 V70 NA cams. Will they work? All the 850's had really high mileage on them.

Should be fine, I dont think you need to worry about mileage on them. Sounds like you already 'GOT' them. Do you have a Mic at home that you can see the difference? Its not much but you can see with a mic. Here are my 93's...guess which is which (N/A vs Turbo)...

N/A on the left, Turbo on the right. There is about a mm more lift but you can hardly tell with the eye.

LOL... the one on the right looked like it has a wider lobe.... but a more narrow lobe means taller which means higher lift....

I wish to change my answer...

you can leave timing at tdc or you can choose to play around with it a bit. I know that the ard tune suggests +2/-2 on can timing with their tune...
