Default check engine light

Gotta 96 850 sedan. Took it to Autozone to see why the check engine light is on. Gave me the following 2 reasons.
1)PO118 The pcm has deteremined that the input from the engine coolant temperature sensor is higher than expected for the curren engine opering conditions.
2)PO442 The pcm has determined that a small leak exists in the evaporative emission control system.

Can someone help me interpret what is wrong.

Thanks in advance,
Michael

Default RE: check engine light

I think the 118 refers to the temp sensor right below the thermostat housing.

442 could be a vacuum leak or the evap valve sticking open.
