Default Check engine light won't reset, help!!!!!

I just replaced spark plug wires, Rotor and cap on 1995 850 turbo. there was no check engine light before i changed out. I did manage to put the wires on the wrong position and then started. Finally figured out what I did wrong and now check engine light comes on

Car runs fine now but I cannot clear the code. I tried the A-7 reset and nothing. Iam trying the battery disconnect now for 20 minutes and pulling the modules. I will try again. Any other thoughts.
thx

do you know what the codes are? It might help in diagnosing why they wont clear...

Drive it down to a parts store and use their scanner to read the code(s) and then reset them to clear the light.
That way if it comes back on you can see if the code is the same, if it is then you know you have a problem.
