Was there any specific reason Volvo put chrome rims on some of the turbo models? Is it like a limited edition type of thing? I can't tell if they're cool or not.

 

I've never seen chrome rims on any Volvo unless there were fuzzy dice hanging off of the mirror and a real big subwoofer.

I can't be 100 on this but not sure if Volvo put out chrome wheels... I know there' a dealer near me that would take wheels of cars and would send them out for chrome, then they would put that car in the showroom for added "appeal" or "eye candy". But this place was synonymous with taking cars and adding a ton of stuff to ballon the total price!

 

Never seen a chrome Volvo wheel. Most likely they were taken off and sent to be chromed.

this is one on an 850 i found, i've also found a copule s70's that had them as well, i thought maybe it was something that volvo threw out once in a while since they've done a couple things like that, but i guess people sending in their wheels to get them chromed makes sense, i don't really like them though.
