I have at 1995 volvo 850 and im trying to clear the check engine light i checked for error codes in the A2 port and got 1-1-1 after that i tried clearing by pressing the button for 5 waiting for the light to turn on again and then another 5 but after pressing the light didn’t turn on again. wondering if there’s anything else i can try to clear the check engine light

 

111 means there are no codes stored in that port - there is nothing to clear.

Have you checked for codes in port a6? And tried to clear those?
