Started my 97 855 this morning and the check engine light came on. Turned off the car, the radiator fan kept running. Plugged in my OBD reader, code 115 came on. From what the book tells me this generic code relates to the engine temp sensor. Is this the sensor located near the thermostat? The car has just under 140k miles on it.

 

That should be the sensor there at the thermostat.
But look at the thermostat as well. They are known to Break.

 

thanks, I'll probably change both while I'm at it along with the coolant. Time to change that anyhow.
