Code 313 question
I was just wondering if anyone might know whether this code would relate to a symptom occurring. Sometimes on cold mornings the car wont shift up. I stop, shift into park and back to drive and sometimes it comes right and sometimes it may take 3-4 goes.
The code I pulled 313 is the faulty signal from the pnp switch. Does anyone think that may be the cause? I don't get the flashing arrow, yet the code is logged in the ecu along with 143 (kick down switch) although I haven't had an issue with kick down. It may have been in there since before I bought it.
Any thoughts/feedback appreciated.

Check the fluid level, color and condition.
Clear the codes and see if they reset.
If you're getting a code for the PNP and it is what tells the transmissions computer how you want it to shift or what gear you want it in, yes it could definitely be the cause.
With the vehicle running, shift all the way from park to "1" and back a number of times. Sometimes if the PNP (neutral safety) switch is starting to go this will usually help the contacts make better contact. A lot of times this will come with that yellow arrow.
You might have a shift solenoid sticking or hanging up and you might want to try a can of transmission additive. Lucas makes a great product and depending on condition you might want to consider doing a flush before you drop it in.
