Default code question

Hey guys.....I was doing a little ECU code checking today and found an odd one.

4-1-4

The book says: Driver's side interior temperature sensor inlet fan seized

OK,,,,,what am I looking for?
is this really important to the AC system?

any help in enlighting me as to what this does or where it is would help.

I remember reading that the fan gets clogged up with dust and stops working. I am pretty sure you can just clean it out and you should be good. I forget where in the car it is though.

if you look over your front door openings on the inside of the car, you will see a small hole on the headliner.

I believe the fan blows or sucks air into the sensor.

Yes that is a fan/sensor. But you have to pull the headliner down first to get it out.
The fan sucks air in across the sensor.
