colour coded body
I was in Gothenburg last week and spotted a white 850 saloon/sedan identical to mine. The only difference was that it had a fully colour coded body and looked sensational. Since my black bumpers now look cr#p, can i just spray the present bumpers and sidetrim white to match body? would i need a special paint? What about the roof bars? should they also be white (including the rubbers)? the paint fell off the latter some time ago anyway. lol. Any help appreciated

Plastic flexes and expands differently than metal. There is something they put in paint that is going on bumpers/rubber/plastic but I don't know what it is. Depending on your answers here you might want to do some searching (Ask, Google .... )
"Flex agent is a adhesion enhancer for painting on plastics and keeps the finished paint from cracking due to flexing. Any paint hardens with age so it will eventually crack when flexed. Unless you use a product like Imron. Go to a paint manufacturer's site like PPG or DuPont and read up on how to apply this stuff."
