Volvo V40 1999 Colour Chart
I am looking at getting a roof box resprayed to colour code with my V40 but I cannot find the colour reference for my car.
Websites say I shoul dbe able to get the colour reference from the Vehicle ID plate but all the codes on there dont return anything when searching.
The car is a deep red colour and appears to be fairly common as I have seen at least 4/5 other cars of the same colour.

I assume that this is not a US car as the V40 did not appear there until 2000.

Thanks for that.
Have identified that my car is colour 339-22 but when I google that or any sort of query %volvo colour 339-99% i get nothing back. Does anyone know of a site that allows you to query colour codes for volvo's?

The colour is 339. The first 2 indicates the manufacturer, Herberts Standox paint and the second 2 indicates that it is a water based metallic/pearl varnish.
If you quote the number to any car paint supplier he will mix the appropriate paint for you. My local supplier does any quantity from 250ml up to "How much do you want?"
