Constant brake problems
I have a 97 with 113K miles on it. Here's background:
Jan 05 the rear rotors / pads were completely replaced by dealership
Feb 05 there was a horrible sound when they got hot. Dealership called this "drawbridge effect". Dealership stated there was a pin missing from rear between calipur and pad. The installed it and I was on my merry way.
One week later, the sound was back. Took it back to the same dealership, and they replaced the front rotors and pads. On my merry way again.
Two months later, sound is back.
Took to same dealer but different location. They stated the rear rotors were defective, and they replaced them again.
Two weeks later, sound back.
Took back to dealership and they replaced the rear rotors once AGAIN.
Here it is, two weeks later and the sound is back!
has anyone else had this much bad luck with this infamous "drawbridge effect" ? ?
