bypass constant running lights?
Have an 04 LSE and the all the exterior lights run all the time when the car is running. I am burning rear lights about every 4-6 weeks. Is there any way to bypass the lights? Cut a certain wire, pull a certain fuse, or plug, and still be able to maually turn the switch to run the lights at night?

I don't think it's electrical. I think it's just the cheap bulbs Auto Zone sells. I've looked around at other models and they are saying the dealer will deactivate the DRL's for about 80 bucks. I'm hoping there is another way...
Dealership has to disable them with as software update. To be honest, stop buying cheap bulbs. Get some better ones and see if they do the same thing. If they do it is most likely electrical. Don't disable your DRL's, in most places they are required. At least in Canada they are and I believe some states now too.
